The island's proposal house

Your Santorini proposal, planned to the minute.

Sixty seconds at the caldera's edge decide the story you will tell for the rest of your lives.

September keeps its color until 20:00. Long enough to stand there afterward and say nothing at all.

We choose the spot against the crowds and the wind, hide the photographer, and let the island do the rest.

We keep the island's numbers so that you do not have to: when the light actually goes1 (note 1), how private the famous rail really is2 (note 2), and what an evening honestly costs3 (note 3).

1July's sun sets at 20:40. A monthly average, honest to five minutes. We plan the walk backward from it. The sunset table →

2Oia scores 2 of 5 for privacy at golden hour. We print the score, then plan around it. The famous rail is the busiest ground on the island. The Oia guide →

3Our published floor is €950. Printed here rather than held back for the call. Final quotes move with venue and season. The packages →

A planning house, not a photo package

Santorini Luxury Proposals is an on-island planning house for marriage proposals. Locations chosen against crowds and wind, photographers no one notices, and settings from a quiet caldera terrace to a private catamaran. Packages from €950. If you are planning to propose on Santorini, start with the honest version.

Anyone can point a camera at a sunset. The work is everything around it: which rail is empty at 19:40 in June, which terrace passes our no-shared-sightlines test, which evening the meltemi will decide for you. That judgment is the product. The photographs are the proof it worked.

Fig. 2. What an evening costs on this island, on one scale: the island's range runs €300 to €10,000 and beyond, most couples spend €550 to €4,500, and our three packages start at €950, €1,750, €4,900.

What an evening costs — the island’s range, what couples spend, and our published floors.

Packages that start honest and stay that way

Every package lists its real contents and a real starting price. Final quotes move with venue and season, never with how much we think you will pay4 (note 4). The figure beside this is the whole market, ours included5 (note 5).

4The island's real range runs €300 – €10,000+. That is the whole market, not our sales band. Most of it is spent on things you can see. The cost pages →

The three packages · published floors, not estimates
PackageFromWhat it is
The Quiet Yes€950The elegant minimum: the right spot, the right minute, a photographer no one notices, and the toast already chilled.
The Signature€1,750A reserved private setting, a styled scene, a planner on site, and a short film of the moment.
The Ithaca€4,900Full production: private villa or catamaran, musicians, chef, film crew. Every variable under control.

The marked row is the one we steer most couples toward, and the reason is specific: it is the smallest package that still puts a planner on the ground with you, which is the part that removes the risk.

Compare the details on the packages page, sanity-check the numbers in our cost guide, or go straight to the full-production tier if control is the point.

The island, mapped

Fifteen ways to stand at the edge

Every pin is a place we have scouted at golden hour, with privacy and sunset scored honestly. Drag the island, or tab across the pins. Then read the ranked guide or browse every location.

The map is drawn north-up. Thirasia lies west across the caldera; Oia sits at the northern tip, Firostefani and Fira on the central rim, Pyrgos inland to the south-east, and the Akrotiri cape at the south-western end.

A proposal company that will not tell you where the crowds are is not planning your evening. It is selling you a photograph.

Four things we say before anyone books

  1. Oia's castle is shoulder-to-shoulder for an hour before sunset from May to October. We will tell you exactly when, and where to stand instead.

  2. The meltemi wind can end a candle-and-petals setup by itself. Every plan we write carries a sheltered alternative, agreed before you fly.

  3. Open fireworks are heavily restricted on this dry island. We stage the legal alternatives that photograph better anyway.

  4. Real prices run from €300 to €10,000 and beyond. Ours are published; the market’s are explained in the cost guide.

This is house policy, not a marketing angle: read who we are and how we work.

How a secret stays a secret

  1. The spot is chosen against the data

Crowd curves, wind exposure, and the exact sunset minute for your week — decided with a planner who has stood there at that hour.

  2. The photographer becomes furniture

Cover positions are scouted in advance. To anyone watching, there is only a person photographing a view, until the knee touches the ground.

  3. The minute is choreographed

Arrival time, standing marks, the cue, the toast — a quiet running order built backward from the light. The full method is in how to propose in Santorini.

Proof

Real proposals, real light

A man on one knee on the bow of a catamaran, the setting sun exactly between their joined hands and her dress lifting in the wind
A couple sitting on a white wall above a blue dome and a bell tower, the caldera and the far rim opening out behind them
A red rose heart inside a white draped arch, a red carpet and long rows of candles leading to it across a white terrace above the sea

Every frame in the gallery is a real couple on a real evening. Nothing staged with models, nothing generated, nothing borrowed.

Tell us the date. We will hold the light.

One conversation is enough to know whether we are the right house for your proposal. Honest advice from the first message, whether you book or not.
