A micro wedding in Santorini, and where the numbers break
A micro wedding in Santorini runs from 5,400 euro for up to twenty guests, covering our planning, coordination, styling and coverage. Venue hire and catering are quoted separately at cost. The guest count matters more than any other decision, because three specific thresholds change what the island can physically do for you.

Almost every question a couple asks about a micro wedding resolves into one number, and it is not the budget. It is how many people are coming. On an island of cliff terraces and single-lane villages, the guest count decides the venue list, the transfer plan, the dinner shape and the photographer's working method, and it decides them in steps rather than smoothly.
Where the count actually changes something
Three thresholds do real work. Between them, nothing much changes; across them, a great deal does. And below all three of them sits the floor we set most often for this scale: the AION terrace at the Old Port, which takes a ceremony and a single long table without a marquee, a generator, or a hilltop logistics plan.
Two
No logistics at all. Any setting on the island is open to you, including the ones reached on foot at dawn. This is an elopement, and it is priced from 2,900 euro.
Up to six
Still one car, still any terrace. Dinner is a restaurant booking rather than a production. The day can be rearranged on the morning of without telling anybody.
Around ten
The first real break. Transfers need coordinating, the venue list shortens, and somebody other than you has to be responsible for where people are. This is where the package starts earning its number.
Twenty
The ceiling for this tier. One long table still works; a second table changes the evening. Above twenty the planning becomes a full production rather than a larger version of this one.
The threshold that surprises people is the middle one. Couples plan carefully for twenty and casually for ten, when ten is where the day stops being something two people can hold in their heads. That is the point at which a planner on the ground stops being a luxury and starts being the reason the ceremony begins on time.

What the 5,400 covers, and what it does not
The micro wedding tier covers our work end to end: planning from your first message, location strategy scored against crowds and wind for your exact dates, celebrant, styling, venue search and liaison with honest exposure notes, guest logistics and transfers briefed, dinner coordination, florals beyond the ceremony, four hours of photography, a short film of the ceremony, a rehearsal walkthrough the day before, and a fallback location carrying its own arrival time, settled while you are still at home.
Four things sit outside it: venue hire, catering and bar, legal fees with their translations, and where you sleep. Each is invoiced by whoever provides it, at cost, and we say so unprompted because a headline that absorbs a venue into itself has told you nothing about which venue you are getting. The reasoning is set out at more length on the wedding cost page.
Which ceremony you hold inside it is a configuration, not a price change. Civil, Orthodox and symbolic all sit inside this tier at the same figure; only the document handling moves.
Micro weddings, counted honestly
How much does a micro wedding in Santorini cost?
Ours start at 5,400 euro for up to twenty guests. That figure buys our own work, which is planning from the first message, venue search and liaison, guest logistics, dinner coordination, florals beyond the ceremony, four hours of photography and a short film. Venue hire and catering are billed at cost by the venue and quoted separately, because those two move by a factor of six across the island.
What actually counts as a micro wedding?
In this market the term usually means somewhere between two and twenty guests, and the upper bound is not arbitrary. Twenty is roughly where a single long table stops working, where minibus transfers replace cars, and where caldera terraces begin refusing bookings. Above it the planning changes category rather than degree, and so does the package.
Is a micro wedding just an elopement with guests?
Structurally yes, and that is the useful way to think about it. The ceremony is identical. What guests add is logistics: arrivals to coordinate, dietary requirements, a dinner that needs a shape, and people who will need to be somewhere at a stated time. Those are the hours the package is actually buying you, and they are the hours couples most underestimate.
Can we still choose a caldera terrace with twenty people?
Some, not all, and the list shortens quickly above about twelve. Rim terraces in Imerovigli and Firostefani hold small groups well. The tightest Oia settings do not. We put honest exposure and capacity notes against every option we send, because a venue that technically seats twenty and comfortably seats twelve is a different venue in practice.
